A Letter from Our President
Veronica Wilson, President and Founder of the Oak Mountain Community Impact Foundation
The letter
Dear Friends and Community Partners,
Every great community is built by people who choose to invest in something bigger than themselves.
For years, I have had the privilege of serving alongside incredible parents, educators, coaches, volunteers, and local businesses throughout the Oak Mountain community. Through those experiences, I have seen firsthand what is possible when people unite around a shared purpose—to support our children, strengthen our schools, and create opportunities for families to thrive.
That vision inspired the creation of the Oak Mountain Community Impact Foundation (OMCIF).
Our foundation was established with one simple belief: when we strengthen our community, we strengthen every family who calls it home. As an independent 501(c)(3) organization, OMCIF exists to bring together community leaders, businesses, schools, and families to invest in initiatives that enrich education, athletics, recreation, youth programs, scholarships, the arts, and projects that enhance the quality of life throughout Oak Mountain.
Play Days is more than a fundraiser—it is a celebration of our community and an opportunity to invest in its future. Every partnership helps provide resources that will create meaningful opportunities and lasting impact for generations to come.
I invite you to become a Community Partner and join us in building an even stronger Oak Mountain. Together, we can make a difference that extends well beyond these two special days.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, thank you for your consideration, your generosity, and your commitment to our community. We look forward to partnering with you as we continue to Serve. Unite. Impact.
With sincere gratitude,
Veronica Wilson
